Vignesh Shivanand - a.k.a Brodha V - The fastest Indian Rapper

Vighnesh Shivanand, a.k.a Brodha V, Rapper/Producer, a Bangalorean from one of India's Most Popular Hip Hop Crews - Machas With Attitude (MWA) that has performed in over 30 regional movies. Winner of Indigo Music Awards 2011 and Bite My Music Global Awards 2011 for Best Hip Hop Song 'Aathma Raama'.
          He is arguably India's Favorite and Most Popular Independent Rapper. He is famous for his versatility and catchy hooks which he lays among many song for M.W.A. Brodha V's Mixtape called "Deathpunch" got him the recognition among Producers, Music Directors and the general public. Over 1000 copies of the mixtape were sold physically during live performances and other independent methods. His Single "Aathma Raama" set a new trend in hip hop music, which combines hip hop music and style of rapping with Hindustani classical music and Carnatic music.
      On 30 May 2013 Brodha V and Smokey won the Radiocity freedom award for " Best Hip Hop Artists " for the track "Indian Flava" which was presented by Vishal Dadlani. Upon hearing the song, Vishal offered them to sing for Chennai Express, for which they readily agreed. It was announced in the following days that Brodha V, Smokey and Enkore would be singing alongside Natalie Di Luccio for the track " Ready Steady Po ". Ready Steady Po being the slogan of the film, gave primetime focus to M.W.A. 3 July 2013 marked their break through in the Bollywood industry with Vishal–Shekhar for the movie Chennai Express, which is a Shahrukh Khan starer. The song " Ready Steady Po " alongside Vishal dadlani and Natalie Di Luccio received rave reviews as one of the best tracks in the film.^[11]

Dr. G. N Sangeetha - An inspiring visionary

Dr G. N. Sangeetha(1973), a Bangalorean, at the age of 7, lost her eye sight in both eyes due to the growth of Brain Tumor on the Optic Nerve. As per the guidance of National Association for the Blind (NAB), Karnataka Branch, She was able to continue her education . She is B.A., M.A. (Women’s Studies) graduate from Bangalore University , Successfully completed National Eligibility Test and Junior Research Fellowship exams conducted in the year 2001 from U.G.C. She has a PhD (Women’s Studies), Hampshe University
Title : Role of Women’s organizations in Empowerment of Distressed Women in Karnataka to her credit. Dr, G. N. Sangeetha is the first Blind Woman to have received Doctorate in the State of Karnataka. She is independent and working as a Documentarist in N.M.K.R.V. Women’s College, Jayanagar IISHE Block, Bangalore till date.

Her mission now is to work for the upliftment of Handicapped Women & fighting for their Rights.

She is the author of the Book “Women’s Organisations in Modern Era”
, “The Empowerment of Visually impaired women through solution of their socio-psychological problems”.

She had a blessed opportunity of meeting Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, the Honorable President of India.

In March 1990, She was the only candidate selected from India by an Organization named "SIGHT SAVERS" (Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind) to participate in the 40th Anniversary Celebrations in Britain. There she had the unique opportunity of meeting the Queen Elizabeth and garlanding her at West Minister's Abbey which is a memorable event in her Life.

In December 2003, she visited Lahore to attend an Youth Conference organized by the Asian Blind Union and Pakistani Blind Association.

Kaif Zia

This is Kaif Zia. Most of you don't need an introduction to this insanely talented Basketball player. For those who do, he is a 20 year-old Bangalorean, aiming to be the next Kobe Bryant. He happens to be one of the very few dunkers in the City, with the best track record, winning every dunking contest he has taken part in.      He also plays Volleyball, is social, sketches for a hobby and has major female fandom.


Achievements
1) 25TH Youth National Basketball Championship at Chhattisgarh in 2008, fourth place Karnataka after 28 years.
2) National school games, Punjab in 2008
3) 60th Junior National  Basketball Championship at Indore in 2010
4) 61st Junior National Basketball Championship at Navi Mumbai in 2011, fourth place.
5) Winner at Mahindra NBA Challenge at Bangalore in 2010.

Dunk:
1) Winner of the dunking completion in Bishop Cotton Girls School in 2009. He did the famous 360 degree dunk.
2) Winner of the dunking competition at the sports fest Spiel in St Joseph's Commerce College in 2009.
3) Dunked over 10 people and was the winner too in 2010 at Bharath Grounds, Malleshwaram.
4) Winner of NBA Mahindra Challenge Dunking Competition in 2010. He dunked over four people as well as the statue of liberty dunk
